You can serve in slices as Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread, but I preferred cutting them into bite-size squares. They were a hit at the Thanksgiving Eve dinner party I attended tonight!

These words were prominently displayed outside the cafe I used to work at. The menu contained an abundance of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options which appealed to both health conscious customers and those who had specific dietary preferences.
The majority of the menu consisted of healthy options like salads, vegetable dishes, and clean animal protein.
But it also consisted of an array of "I'm going to feel disgusting afterwards" indulgences, such as massive slices of cheesy lasagna, sugary milkshakes, and the biggest cupcakes I've ever seen.

They're a convenient way to consume a boat load of nutrients without making the body work too hard to absorb and digest them. Plus, they taste great! Unfortunately, not all smoothies are created equal which is why I typically don't drink smoothies unless I've made them myself.
A lot of smoothies you can order from restaurants and cafes are ridiculously high in sugar, either from too much fruit, fruit juice, or the addition of sherbet or frozen yogurt.
