No relation to Jackie or Chuck.

But what I lack in martial arts experience, I make up for with my love of helping women get healthier, feel happier, and stop being so dang hard on themselves in the process.

Before you read on, please note that this is NOT a diet and weight loss blog. It's more of a "get healthier and feel more awesome" blog, for women of all shapes and sizes.

If you're into finding what works best for you and being open to making some mistakes along the way (while lovingly laughing at yourself in the process), you and I will get along great. I invite you to hang out and read on!

ABOUT EMBRACE TRUE HEALTH

In 2010, I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I studied to become a Health Coach and then started EmbraceTrueHealth.com as a way to document and share what I've learned and experienced throughout my health journey.

I started writing about everything - from my food experiments (like my 3-day juice cleanse or the time I did a 4-day raw food detox) to the health documentaries and inspiring TED talks I watched, to vegan ice cream recipes I concocted, to the kitchen appliances I obsessed over (I'm looking at you, Vitamix and slow cooker).

Here you'll also find simple recipes (for carnivores and vegetarians alike) that are easy to make and taste great. I consider myself somewhat of a "lazy cook" so I do my best to keep the directions short and ingredients list to a minimum because healthy living shouldn't have to feel overwhelming.

I'll also share with you some of my favorite products, health tips, and other resources to inspire and support you in your own journey toward improving your health and stepping into your most awesome self.
