Breakfast Egg + Avocado Toast

If you want a satisfying meal, this is one of the easiest recipes EVER. It contains the perfect mix of healthy fat, protein, and comfort carbs to keep your stomach & taste buds satisfied.


Breakfast Egg + Avocado Toast

Yields: 1 serving


  • 1 slice gluten-free bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 small avocado (or 1/4 large avocado)
  • Sea salt & pepper (to taste)


  1. Toast the bread (if you don't have a toaster like me, broil about 1 min on each side)
  2. While bread is toasting, mash up the avocado in a small bowl
  3. Fry or scramble the egg (cook in fat of your choice, e.g. ghee, grass-fed butter, coconut oil)
  4. Assemble: Spread avocado on toast and top with the egg. Add salt & pepper. For added flavor: try paprika, red pepper flakes, chili powder, basil, or curry powder. Enjoy!
