Sliced Cucumber with Sesame Salt

A refreshing, hydrating snack with only 3 ingredients.


  • 1 medium to large organic cucumber
  • Rice vinegar
  • Gomasio (a must-have condiment usually found in the Asian food aisle of the store, comprising of sesame seeds, sea salt and seaweed)


  1. Slice cucumber using a knife or mandolin (recommended for perfectly uniform cuts)
  2. Arranged on a plate with each slice slightly overlapping the one before it
  3. Drizzle enough rice vinegar to coat all of the slices (don't drench it though!)
  4. Top with a generous amount of Gomasio
  5. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes before serving
