Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

What to do when I'm hungry but out of food? I looked through my pantry and freezer and came up with this delicious concoction. I love adding Vitamin A rich pumpkin to anything and was thrilled when this combination of flavors hit the spot!


  • 6-8 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 c organic pumpkin (canned)
  • 1/4 frozen banana
  • Stevia (to taste)
  • Cinnamon (to taste)
  • Pumpkin pie spice (lots!)
  • Optional: add a handful of leafy greens to boost the nutrient content.


Put ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. If you don't have a frozen banana, use a fresh one and add ice (or pour smoothie over ice) as this tastes best when cold.
