If you are looking for an alternative to soda, give this bubbly beverage a try! I know people who have kicked their soda habit by replacing soda with this drink.
When I'm craving something refreshing or when I'm thirsty but not in the mood for plain water (especially at night), this is my go-to drink. Lime is an excellent source of Vitamin C, it's high in antioxidants and detoxifying to the body.
The recipe below is simply a guideline, so feel free to adjust the amount of sparkling water, lime and stevia depending on how sweet or sour you want it.
Refreshing Lime Soda
Yields 1 serving
- 8-10 ounces of Sparkling Water
- Juice of 1 Lime
- Stevia (to taste...a little goes a long way!)
- Combine the sparkling water, lime and stevia
- Stir and enjoy!
